Abdullahi Ganduje, the All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairman, is set to launch the APC Youth Wing Workplace Readiness Training Programme, an initiative aimed at enhancing employability among young party members.
The programme, themed “I am Employable,” will take place from June 4 to 7, 2024, in Abuja and will be accessible virtually to participants nationwide.
According to the organisers, the program is designed to equip young party members with essential skills and knowledge, covering topics such as professional development, effective communication, leadership, and industry-specific skills.
The organiser, in a statement issued on Sunday, said Ganduje’s involvement highlights the APC’s commitment to youth empowerment and fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism within the party.
Dayo Israel, the youth leader of the APC, said the youths were thrilled to have Ganduje inaugurate the vital programme.
“This initiative reflects our dedication to the youth and our belief in their potential to drive positive change in our society,” he said.
Speakers expected at the event include E.G Jibola Ponnle, former CIPM CEO and former Lagos commissioner for training; Niyi Adesanya, CEO of FifthGear Plus and management consultant; and Morayo Afolabi-Brown, among others.
